Welcome to Arabella Crystals! I’m Alicia, the founder, creator, and sole artisan behind every candle you see here. My passion for gemstones and love of crafting led me to combine these two passions and create candles that do more than light up your space—they help align your energy with your intentions.
I founded Arabella Crystals at 17 years old after discovering the magic of gemstones while working at a gem sluicing shop in Salisbury, NC. It was there that I first fell in love with minerals and their unique energies. I wanted to find a way to share that energy in a way that felt personal and meaningful, and that’s when the idea of hidden crystal candles was born.
What began with just $500 in savings from my full-time job has now grown into a business dedicated to creating handcrafted candles that support moments of change, growth, and manifestation. Each candle is carefully infused with energy from sacred geometry, the zodiacs, crystals, and chakras to help you manifest your goals and bring balance into your life.
I’m the one behind every step of the process—from selecting each crystal, pouring each candle, and carefully packing your order with love and care. Every piece I create is an expression of my dedication to quality, sustainability, and, most importantly, the transformative power of intention.

Outside of Arabella Crystals, I’m all about creative hobbies and exciting adventures. You’ll usually find me crocheting, cross-stitching, or lost in a game of Sims 4 or Call of Duty. Joe and I love spending time at the local tracks, where he drifts (think Tokyo Drift) his fully built and boosted NA Miata or Firebird—if that piques your interest! We also enjoy traveling up and down the east coast, visiting family and making memories along the way.
Joe and I are huge animal lovers. Over the years, I’ve had everything from cats, dogs, ferrets, and rabbits to guinea pigs, mini pigs, fish, and hermit crabs. Right now, we’ve got 4 cats and 6 chickens, but our dream is to one day run a non-profit cat sanctuary.
As far as TV goes, The Office is my all-time favorite—it’ll be on repeat for the rest of my life. I also love shows like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and LOST—those are the kinds of series I could watch endlessly.
Music-wise, indie electronica is my jam. I’m usually listening to Glass Animals, MGMT, Still Woozy, Passion Pit, and a bunch of others. But every now and then, I revisit my emo/scene days and blast bands like Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, blessthefall, Motionless in White, and Tonight Alive. Oh, and Joe and I are currently obsessed with Sleep Token.
Life is a mix of crystal vibes, good tunes, adventure, and a whole lot of love for our animals and each other.
